Original Crystal Free Device
The patented DiamondTome® wand is the original crystal free device used in all of the Altair Instruments Microdermabrasion systems. These wands have natural diamonds bonded on the tip of the wand and are specifically designed to glide over every unique curve on the face and body, producing smoother and radiant skin.
DiamondTome wands are based on crystal-free technology which decreases the risk of particle clogging and other potential skin problems. It helps polish the skin by removing the top layer of dead skin cells which causes buildup and of course, clogging the pores.
DiamondTome® Wand Configurations Offered:
The wands come in various diamond grits and sizes to address even the most delicate skin types:
- Fine – Measured at 75 microns
- Medium – Measured at 100 microns
- Coarse – Measured at 125 microns
- Extra Coarse – Measured at 175 microns
The coarse and extra coarse wands are recommended when the skin is thick and oily and a more aggressive approach to skin exfoliation is required, or if there are acne scars.
